How to Repair Non-slip Tape |
Although the entire tape can be replaced, most of the repairing is done on a damaged spot such as the one shown in the picture below. To do it by yourself, you would need new replacement tape that comes in sheets and a box cutter. |

Cut around the damaged area with a box cutter. Use a glass cup as a guide if possible. If not, a ruler would do it. |

Peel off the old tape. |

Old tape is removed around the damaged area. |
 |
Cut from new tape. Use the same guide (glass cup, ruler, etc.). |

Peel off the paper backing from the newly cut tape. |
 |
Patch the self-adhesive tape onto the aluminum. Trim off edges if needed. |
