How to Repair Non-slip Tape

Although the entire tape can be replaced, most of the repairing is done on a damaged spot such as the one shown in the picture below. To do it by yourself, you would need new replacement tape that comes in sheets and a box cutter.

scooter ramp Cut around the damaged area with a box cutter.  Use a glass cup as a guide if possible. If not, a ruler would do it.
handicap ramps Peel off the old tape.
scooter ramps Old tape is removed around the damaged area.
ramps for wheelchairs Cut from new tape. Use the same guide (glass cup, ruler, etc.).
light weight Peel off the paper backing from the newly cut tape.
non-skid tape Patch the self-adhesive tape onto the aluminum. Trim off edges if needed.
